Loved Ones In Plants

We water the plants

To help them grow

Like beautiful beings, they are,

And help them bloom

With all the nourishment they need,

This isn't just a gesture of love

Towards these species,

But our love towards the loved ones

Whose soil they grow from,

It's the gesture of care we shower them with

Which is an expression that says

We still remember them,

It's our ways of making up for things

We could not do for them before,

It's our way to show that they are

Always in our hearts and minds,

It maybe the sunlight and our nourishments

That helps these plants grow in them,

But it's their fragrance when it rains

That fills our heart with love and joy,

A sign that

They are always with us

Where ever we may go,

A sign that

They will always be the ones to

Look towards to help gain our strengths back,

A sign that

They love and miss us too
