Night Along The Stars

The sheets ripple through me.

The sun is shining brightly along the curtains.

Is this how happy I can be?

Me and him together, is it certain?

He caresses my skin gently and gives me a peck.

The butterflies in my stomach have no controls

I have to control, be fully in check.

I roll over, he comes and beside he rolls.

I kiss him with all my might.

Almost hard to breathe.

I miss him now when he is right beside me, is this the plight?

The lets me lay down on his shoulder and plays with my hair.

Maybe what brought us together is fate.

I don’t know if this is temporary or permanent.

I only know he is there for me and I am there for him.

We built a little tent near our home

We weekend here with our kids and dogs now

Till today I ask the question Is this how happy I can be?
