Every morning I wake up to the thought of you

You’re sleeping next to me as if it’s nothing new

I watch you while you sleep

I take the liberty to kiss you deep

 

You take me into am embrace so warm

I close my eyes believing there would be no harm

The taste of your lips makes me wish it were true for evermore

Burdened with the fears that fill me with dread

I seek your chest to instead bury my head

When you raise my face towards you
