The Truth

His house was sophisticated

With all amenities that ease life.

Music was played at voice

And temperature self regulated.

Money was like water to him

And nothing was impossible for him.

Others were mere dust of his foot

Because he thought the whole world is under his foot.

Nothing was worth for him

But for his ego prime

That he refused to don humility

That crowned life joyously.

He never knew what peace is

Because the fear of steals

Kept flashing in his mind

Till the time he was up at night mid.

But the poor on the street

Whom he humiliated most

Slept well even though empty stomach

And a torn blanket to pull over much.

This is because they are content in less

And enjoy every moment that brings happiness.
