Glad she is home
Glad she is home
As you step into the house
After a long ride under the sun
All Dripped in sweat
,your eyes start searching for her
Before you reach for that glass of water
that you've been desperately wanting to have
this whole time...
You investigate every nook and corner
Just to find her mobile phone lying
Carelessly over the sofa.
You start to panic.
You stare at the door for a while
Until it stops hinting where she actually is...
Unable to help yourself but think of
all possible unfortunate incidents
That could happen
You rush to the door
And glue your eyes on the road in front
Your heart is thumping competing with
every little movement in the clock...
Until it's nine at night
And you see her walking all alone
In the lonely street.
You rush halfway unloading her
off a huge grocery bag that she carries
Yelling-"where the hell have you been?"
She talks about her big purchase of all your favourite
Fruits
From the organic garden that you keep posting about on social media...
Yes, she's your mother for you
Who you avoid, being hooked to things that aren't real
While she is busy bringing it all to reality....
You're glad she's home!!
