Let's Stand Together, Again!

We got independence

About 73 years ago,

All thanks to the selfless freedom fighters

We as citizens, certainly, have a lot to owe!

But if you analyse a bit; you'll find that the 

efforts of the fighters have gone haywire,

As we have taken freedom for granted

And it surely is something that's dire. 

For instance, let's take the case of women these days, 

Rape, harassment, brutality and what not

My friend, don't treat them like dogs,

After all, women aren't dolls that you've got!

Okay, keeping that unfortunate thing aside,

Let's talk about the corruption that has crept,

Bribery, fraud, crime, all of that sort,

Needs to be swept! 

Yes, we did get independence,

But it originally meant to be free,

And, we are misusing it for sure,

You have to admit it, even if you don't agree!

Child labour, burglary, persecution,

Let's start rejecting these lousy policies,

We need an India that's devoid of these stupid ideas, 

A #FreeIndia ending all these kinds of fallacies!

Mere and petty thoughts, there's definitely a lot of dishonesty beyond this,

Thus we truly need to invoke the fighter in us now,

To put an end to this world of deception,

And to demand a #FreeIndia that's actually wow!
