Behind The Curtain
Behind The Curtain
No need to kneel
With the pain, I feel
So hollow inside
Like an impostor deal
Being in the present
Living in the past
Nothing so dreadful
As being outcast
My feelings are nothing
But a burden to some
All the trust is lost
I feel next to none
It's funny how
Things turned out to be
All I see
Is a tragic epiphany
How the people you love
Poke a spear through your heart
The whole world stares at you
Like a piece of art
I am not smart
As to differentiate
Between
Emotional or practical
Suddenly all the irrational behavior
Turns out to be ethical
Inch by inch
Piece by piece
I feel myself
Dropping into abyss
Like a trash
Sitting outside the door
I can't understand
How much I can take more
My silent screams
Are nowhere to be heard
Those I call friends
Are struggling with theirs
Those tears
That is smeared
All over my face
Tells a story of humanity
Dropping every second
With the evolution of
Human race
