We Are Butterflies

Once upon a time, we travelled through the woods,

With greenery everywhere,

Only flowers were seen between the woods,

My friendly animals grazed as we did suck sweet nectar,

We added color to those woods with our colorful presence,

We loved to go out for sweet nectar every day,



Days have changed now,

Now we travel in between the vehicles,

Our animal friends are seldom seen & Greenery is only a dream,

Flowers are seen only in fewer places as its concrete jungle everywhere,

My other Butterfly pals meet the wheels of moving vehicles,

We fear coming out, but we have to come out for nectar,

To remain colorful in everybody’s remembrance,

In making kids happy & in becoming Kiddo’s intense poem!
