In My Dreams
In My Dreams
In my dreams,
I visit many lands,
Places distant, never motor-able
Places adjacent, never accessible
I dive into the ocean
And into an oyster
Talk to the pearl
About its luster
I enter a cloud
And see a raindrop
Plead it to drip
Upon my rooftop
I enter a flower
With bee for company
Drink the nectar
Yet to become Honey
I break into a human brain
And wonder at its mechanics
Exit it quick
To avoid its politics
