Her Laughs
Her Laughs
The days when we both pray to God,
I try to steal the Laddoo prasad from Lord Ganesha hand,
You say you punish me by not giving the laddoos,
I try to take them from the jar in the shelf,
You see it and laughs at my attempts and give them anyway
By saying oh my poor baby,
In my curious early teenage years,
You used to give me the work of switching off the stove when Milk is boiled completely,
But those milk always cheats me,
They say we have much time to boil,
While I return to switch off the stove,
The milk already boiled over and they slip and fell all over the stove,
When you see and asks me the reason,
I used to swear I am here only and milk cheated me,
You used to laugh the entire day,
Mother, now I am a grown-up,
When I go through rough times,
When I have lived with pain in every moment,
I just go through our memories,
It makes me happy to remember your laughs.
It gives me a feeling of strength to make some more good memories in this life.
