Precious Little Things

It's in the little things that

We seek happiness from,

Not from the materialism

Of the world,

The materialistic things

We get fascinated about

May fade away,

But never the things we feel

In our hearts from within,

It maybe hard to live

With the expenses we face,

From the debts that we owe,

From the scarcity we face,

But it was always our belief

That helped us survive,

Helped our families to stay content,

Cherish the memories we make

Whereas the world does otherwise,

If luxury and money were

The only things to keep us happy,

Then why people still struggle to find it?

Are they really low on these luxuries

Then they had expected to be?

Or,

They really don't know the difference

Between necessities and things worthless

Of our time?
