The onus is on us
The onus is on us
We are because she is
We got all from her
Our existence,
Our breathe,
Our food,
Our abundance of needs.
She is the one
Who takes care of all these,
She was thriving
With plethora of bounties.
Her flora and fauna,
Her mountains and rivers,
Her plateaus and Meadows,
All we're always providing
Sometimes to starve the hunger of her stomach
Or to soothe our tired eyes.
Now the onus is on us
To protect her,
To nurture her,
To make her thrive.
As it's her well being
That will determine
The future of our offspring.
Nature has provided and will
But now has the click strike
It's time to get the things right
To protect her from getting perish
To preserve her with all our might.
As nature is our only source of life,
Our first mother,
Our last lifeline.
