The Mother Tongue

The Sun get awake, the Kingdom is ready with his great king, Akbar.

It's a great day as usual in the castle, the Emperor was completely involved in listening to great music by the most famous musician, Tansen. Tansen was playing vina the whole court and for the great.

But today is something different! Yeah! It is suddenly a soldier entered into the Court informing the Emperor that a Great Linguist from Neighbour's State wants to meet you. The Emperor asks Tansen to pause the music and allowed the Linguist to come inside.

The Linguist enters the court with a challenge. And the challenge is to find out the Mother Tongue of him. Akbar calls members of different communities to talk with the linguist with unique languages. But he was surprisingly talked with all of them so much fluently. Now the emperor is losing hope.

The Linguist says " hah! King, you couldn't find out my mother tongue? Haha! At least I expect you to find out it within two days or else it would be proved that our kingdom is much more intelligent than yours."

With this, the linguist leaves the court. On the very Next moment Akbar calls Birbal, the wisest minister of his court to save his kingdom's reputation. Very confidently Birbal agreed on the challenge.

Birbal then finds out the room where the Linguist was staying. On the next day mid-night, Birbal with two of his friends entered the room where linguist was staying. Seeing the thief's inside his room, the Linguist whole body trembles with fear and he shouts not to steal anything or harm him but in Bengla only instead of any other language.

After these three thieves left that place. The next day the Linguist come to the court for getting his answer from the Emperor. At the court, Birbal stands and declares that Bangla was the linguist's mother tongue. All others are startle on this. The Emperor asks how do Birbal knew this. Then Birbal answered that the language spoken by someone while he/she is in fear is the language of his heart which is non-other than the mother tongue. Then Birbal declares his real strategy behind finding his mother tongue.

The Linguist accepts Birbal's answer and at last, the Emperor's reputation was saved. Akbar became extremely happy with Birbal, hence awarded him with jewels.
