The Act

"Please be mine forever! Please, marry me". Knelt on the floor he said. 

Seeing the ring in his hand, she couldn't control her emotions. 

She said, "Yes! I will be yours forever".

They were caught in the moment. They were wrapped in each others' warm embrace. Like they had their souls entwined. 

Then the curtains fell and someone said, "cut". She knew it has ended, the act has ended! 

The audience in the theatre was caught in the moment too. They clapped. Many of them had tears in their eyes. So did she. 

The act was too good that it looked real. Even she knew it was a performance but deep down she wanted it to be true.
