Brahmand: The Universe

Sun and his wife, a star called Vega, had recently given birth to a child. They named the boy Earth. They already had seven children, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Venus, Mars, and Mercury, but somehow Earth was different from all of them. He was larger in size than his older siblings, namely, Mercury, Venus and Mars, something that was not very common those days. And during his birth, the doctor had said that Earth had some strange organs in his body that he had never seen before.

It was after the birth of Earth that the Sun decided to call his children planets, meaning wanderers, for not one of them was capable of sitting still. They were always wandering around, especially Mercury, Venus, and Earth. So the Sun made eight paths around himself. He named those paths 'orbits'. In the first three orbits, he placed Mercury, Venus, and Earth, as he wanted them right under his nose. No longer worried about his children's safety, he was quite content.

Meanwhile, Moon, Sun's arch-rival was jealous. He too had noticed the Earth's abnormality and was sure that the Sun would make Earth the king after him. So Moon began worshiping Lord Brahman, The Creator. When finally Lord Brahman appeared before him, Moon told him, " Sun's youngest son Earth is certainly a threat to all of us, and surely Sun will make him the next king. Do something to completely destroy Earth, that is all I want from you."

Guess what Brahman did? He made man, who will reside inside Earth. That was it. This is what was different about Earth. Earth was capable of sustaining life. Earth provided men whatever they needed - water, shelter, land, food and other resources. But the humans, well they were not the least grateful. They began cutting down trees, killing animals and polluting the Earth.

Even till this day, we are doing what the Moon wanted. We are destroying the Earth. Save Earth, or else the moon's wish will be fulfilled soon.
