My Life In 7D

Last week I went for a movie with my family, it was a 7D movie and we all were super excited as it was something new we all were about to experience. As per the words of the attendant at the theatre it was a “Life Shaking” experience. I was the most excited of the family as it was an animal fiction story and I am a big fan of animals. I knew I was in for a big treat as it was an animated movie full of walking talking animals with their funny and at times emotional antics.

My father booked an Ola and we reached the theatre thirty minutes before the movie as I wanted to try new flavor Donuts at Dunkins in the mall. Since the theatre was under cleaning and we had some time at hand we clicked some selfies with my father and I making some funny faces around the movie poster. I clicked some nice shots of my father and mother. Finally entry to the theatre started and we were given special glasses to watch the movie. My father helped us find our seats and I was so glad that my father had booked the centre seats, my favorite seats. After about 5 minutes delay the screen came alive with some ads and some other movie trailers and the most awaited event of the day started. I was in complete awe with anticipation of the out of world experience I was about to travel through. We were hardly a minute through the movie when my father knocked my elbow and asked me how was I liking the movie so far, “ohhh amazing”, I said trying to control my excited pitch.

Suddenly our seats started shaking like an earthquake, I could feel I was moving in all directions and that my ship was under alien attack, I was laughing yet fearful of what I was about to experience in future. Everyone in the hall was screaming, shouting, laughing, giggling and making all kind of funny sounds due to excitement. I could hear kids around me shout and ask each other what is happening, what is going to happen, who was that rabbit type character and what not. Suddenly our seats shook like someone was holding them and shaking them very fast, I heard my mother scream and say “oh god please help us, please save us and then she started laughing, I too started laughing with her, holding her hand as tightly as I could. Next there was a bright light which was almost making us blind and a golden stairway started rolling down in front of us from what looked liked a UFO, I could not clearly see what it was as the bright light was making me blind and all I can see was a golden stair and pure white light in the background, slowly the white light started dimming and an image started coming alive, first the long ears, then the flat and long feet, then came the belly, slowly the hands started appearing holding something followed by a face which was chewing on a carrot, oh my god!!! It was a rabbit that looked like a kangaroo. The rabbit kangaroo bent a bit and came very close to my I could almost feel his nose touch my nose and he said, ”Hi”, I was so shocked that I said hi in a very scared and shrill voice and so did my mother. I could hear my mother talking to the character and ask him, “Who are you? Please don’t do anything to us”, “you are the chosen one”, “for what” I said, “to save the mankind from extinction”, said the rabbit.

“Who sent you here? Why me?”, “behold your questions” said the rabbit, “sssssshhhhhhhhhhhh…….all your questions will be answered soon”, said the rabbit whispering in my ears, then he bent over and took me in his huge hairy arms which smelled like orange dipped carrots. I was scared and could see being taken on that strange plane, along with my mother and father. I looked at my mother and she had a look of surprise and shock on her face, I pulled her shirt and asked her what was the matter she quietly pointed her finger towards the plane, I turned and saw she was pointing to a signage which read “FRACIOUS”, “Fracious”, I said “what a funny name”, “ssssssssssshhhhhh” said the rabbit, then he said something to me in an ordering manner that I could not understand as it seemed a different language, I was still trying to make sense of what the rabbit said when he turned and said “sorry”, “I mean don’t call my home funny”. I asked him what language was that he said “franccioly, our native language”.

My parents and I were on the plane and the doors were shut before we could understand anything we all were on our way to a different planet, a different world.

Sitting on those comfortable and warm seats on that plane, slowly we realized we have been kidnapped and now being taken to somewhere we have been never been to, we all started feeling angry, happy, confused, and scared and everything else as we didn’t know what was happening and what our future is going to become. I was thinking to myself, are we dead, are we alive, will we ever come back to earth, will there be oxygen to breathe, I was going through all this in my head when I felt a funny but familiar sound in my stomach, it was the sound of hunger, I quietly whispered in my mother’s ears “I am hungry”, “I know my son” she said “I can hear your stomach growl” let me see if I have anything in my bag she said. We were discussing this amongst us when we hear big footsteps coming towards us, we look up and see an elephant with big teeth and wings holding a tray with something that looked like bread, “Eat now” he said, with a smile. My mother and looked at each other amazed at how this happened, “we can listen to whispers” said the rabbit, who was sitting calmly on his big chair and with a big screen in front. I looked more carefully on the screen and could see earth going away from us. “Earth” I screamed, jumping from my seat in fear and excitement, my mother pulled my hand down, “sit”. “Eat now” said the elephant with wings again; I took the tray and started gulping the chunks of bread down my throat. “This is magical bread” said the elephant; “how” I asked, “now you can speak my language” said the elephant, I smiled thinking it was a joke as I had seen something like this on Doremon also and knew this is something which happens on TV only not in real life.

As I was busy eating the rabbit said “crew get ready to land”, I didn’t understand what that meant, “land!, where?” I asked, “Home sweet home” said the rabbit, I was confused, as it was hardly 10 minutes we had been in the plane. “How?”, I asked. “We travelled at twice the speed of light” said the rabbit. I didn’t understand a word but took rabbits word as an order and stopped eating the bread, trying to find a seat belt to tie as we did in our flights on earth but couldn’t find one. After few minutes the plane landed and slowly the lights started dimming and the top of the plane started to open like a Chinese fan, our chairs started to rise and soon we were on top of the plane. There was a huge signage in front of us far away that read “Fracious - home of the loved”.

“Welcome to Fracious” said the rabbit and the elephant together with smile, we started walking as guided by our new friends, scared but excited for what was happening. “Where are going?” I asked the elephant, “to meet the royal family” he said. “Wow, there is a royal family here too” said my father in excitement, “why” asked the rabbit, “oh nothing, I thought kings and queens were on earth only, I thought” said my father. We could see the royal palace it was like a palace made of Lego, everything including the buildings, looked like a cube. Then I realized not just the palace but everything there was in cube shape. We reached the gate of the palace and were greeted by two five feet tall camels standing on two legs, holding a spear and a shield in two hands or legs, I couldn’t be sure. The camels bowed in respect to the rabbit and greeted us with a stern look. My parents and I looked at each other if we were in a friendly zone or surrounded by enemies.

We started walking, following the rabbits footsteps filled with mixed emotions and soon we were at another gate, a bigger and stronger one than the previous gate, here again we saw camels guarding the gate and they were more heavily armed with weird looking guns and were stone faced with no emotions. This time the guards didn’t greet the rabbits and signaled all of us to stop. “Show me your ID” said the taller camel to the rabbit and the rabbit promptly showed his ID card. The camel looked at the ID card and then carefully at the rabbit then again at the rabbit and said “let them pass”, we again started walking quietly behind the rabbit passing beautiful fountains and gardens, finally reaching the grand palace, surrounded by uncountable bears they seemed to be some elite force guarding the king’s palace. As we walking up the stairs I noticed a garage on far right of the palace and could not believe my eyes when I saw beautiful cars of different colors and designs. Looking at those cars I so wished I could ride in any one of them probably the fastest one of them. I was happily dreaming about my car ride when I hear someone shout “Attention” I looked in front and saw a huge white throne and on the throne sat the king, a squirrel, I thought it was a joke or maybe my eye sights have gone bad hence I pulled my mom’s jacket to confirm “is that a squirrel?” “Yes” she replied. “Your guests are here my king” said the rabbit, “well done warlord” said the king “bring the young one near me “ordered the king” the rabbit looked at me and said “come with me”, I looked at my parents who seemed frozen, I started walking towards the king and as I reached the throne the rabbit signaled me to stop and kneel. “you want to ride my car, don’t you?” asked the king, I was surprised at how he guessed that so I looked at the king with surprise filled eyes, “I saw you looking at my cars with big eyes and open mouth, am I right” asked the king, I nodded in reply “well than choose the car”. I could not believe my ears or my luck “the fastest” I said in a low voice, “speak freely” said the king, “the fastest” I said again a bit more loudly. “Ramen, take the boy for a ride and make sure he is satisfied when he is back” “yes my king” said the rabbit; he bowed and signaled me to do the same. As we were walking I asked the rabbit “is the king serious” “he never jokes” said the rabbit, “tell me which car you want to ride? “Ferrari” I said “whats that. We don’t have them here. “Lamborghini” I asked “No, we don’t” “I don’t know then you please suggest” I said. “Ha ha ha, don’t worry we have better cars” said the rabbit. We reached the garage and the rabbit proudly started showing me all the cars the king had in his stable. It was hard for me to decide, “can I see some videos and details please” “sure” said the rabbit and took a gadget out of his jacket pocket I started seeing the videos and finalized on one red color car which looked like a Ferrari, “this one” I said, the rabbit raised his had and pointed to the car and one of the attendants brought the car to us, I couldn’t stop giggling in excitement. It was a super luxury car and so comfortable, we started rolling, the car was going in such a pleasant speed that I said “wow, what a luxurious car” I looked out of the window and saw we were not on road but flying, it was amazing. I looked out of my window and saw a twelve eyed ugly creature, colorful stones playing hide and seek by wrapping them into a very different wrapping paper and the wrapping paper was changing its color. I also saw some beautiful fairies and horses selling fish and they were also eating them but the horses were not standing but moving on a flying board. I could see lot of different animals and some different creatures and a lot of greenery around with lot of beautiful flowers, trees and plants with pink, blue, orange and all different shades of leaves. After a while we reached back to the palace. I thanked the king for the ride, “you are welcome” he said.

The king raised his hand and snapped his fingers as soon as he snapped his fingers I could see an army of servants coming with plates and realized it was lunch time, I could not wait to eat as the journey and the excitement had made me hungry again. We all had a wonderful lunch and then we all were taken to a huge bedroom to take some rest, “we will meet you later in the day” said the king, “you all must be tired go and take some rest”. Three of us slept for almost half of the day when I heard my mother say “Wake up wake up” we have to go and meet the king, I saw my mother and father were up and already dressed in beautiful vibrant native clothes send to us by the king, I had a pair too for myself. I went to the bathroom freshened up and in my new clothes, now we all waited for the kings further instructions. As we waited we heard someone come running towards us in the hallway, the door knocked and we saw one of the palace guards standing at the door and breathing very fast, “please come the king wants to meet you, its urgent, very urgent” three of us started following the messenger not knowing what had happened.

We reached the king's personal meeting room and were asked to sit in some very expensive and comfortable chairs. “Stand up for the king” screamed the palace guard and my parents and I stood up, the king entered with a smile but worry on his face “please sit down” said the king. “I don’t know how should I tell you but we have made a terrible mistake it seems”, he paused “we have wrongly picked you up so we will be sending you back soon, please enjoy your stay here as long as you wish”. We all looked at each other with some relief, some excitement and in my case some sadness also as I was truly enjoying my stay so far, no school, no exams, huge palace, amazing cars…was all about to go “it was not forever anyways” I said to myself and started preparing myself mentally about coming to my earth, my friends, my world.

We stayed there for the whole day and the night, had great fun enjoying the kings feast and palace and fast cars too, in my case. “Be ready at dawn we will take you back to your home early morning tomorrow” said the rabbit, “good night” and left us in our comfortable room.

Next morning we were all ready and were taken to the same spaceship we came in, I looked around the city from the spaceship window, “wow what a city” I said to myself. We were asked to sit down around a table, a dinner table and were served fruits, juices and some tasty breakfast. Finally we were dropped at our doorstep, I hugged and thanked the rabbit, “will I see you again”, I said, “you never know” said the rabbit, “bye for now”, I waived and the rabbit vanished with his spaceship even before I could raise my hand to waive at him, and like this my 7D movie turned into a real life journey of a life time. “what a day” I thought to me self, I was lost in my dreams of the beautiful cars and the huge palace when I heard my mother shout, “Ekagrah get ready for school fast or you will get late” and like this I was back to earth, my home sweet home.
