Flat No. 1307

This story was told by a friend, which had happened with him. My name is Ray and Raghav is my friend , we both are 14 years old. In my family there is only me and my parents and it is same in his family. It was a winter weekend and we had planned a night out at his house, my family and his family were celebrating as it was Christmas night, our family knew each other very well since 6 - 7 months, his house is beside my house. I am staying in this building for last three years and they shifted a year ago, in the beginning they used to stay in there house and would never interact with anyone, after 2-3 months my mom and dad thought that something is suspicious, so they went and talked with them and asked them what is wrong but they said everything is fine, they said they don't know anyone that's the reason they don't get involved in any program, and to that my dad said "well, you know us now" and this is how our friendship started, but till date my mom and dad thinks that there is something suspicious. They have tried asking them many times but they always change the topic.

We all were in great mood, mine and his dad were talking about politics and our mom's were talking about the serial, it was quiet boring, but who thought this would end up so scary. His mom while talking with mom said something about their previous house which was in 'Grand Paradise Tower' and after she said that there was a pin drop silence, and their faces became pale as white. Seeing this my dad understood something had happened there and this was the reason why they never used to get involved in anything, So my dad asked them "what is it, what happened at your previous house?" at first they denied, but on asking again and again they told us the story.

*2 Years Ago*

It all started when they moved in the previous house, which was in the building grand paradise tower which was located at Malabar. It is Situated in one of the posh locations in the city, but there was something wrong with flat number 1307. They moved in flat no. 1307 which they got at very cheap price while compared to other flats of that building, when they asked the person from which they bought the flat, he told that the owner is shifting to New York and wants to sell the house as soon as possible. At first they thought that something is not right but they bought the flat, and this was their biggest mistake. They were happy there, till they started to feel like there were not alone.

There had been many incidents, like they heard voices like someone is pulling a chair or someone is hammering, at first they thought that the people staying above them were doing some work at their home, but when they asked the people staying above them they told they were not doing anything, and the sound used to come between 1 am and 3 am at night. Raghav had made new friends there and when he asked them to come over they denied after knowing that he used to leave in flat no. 1307. They became more scared now, Raghav also had some friends who lived in the same area, their names were Raj and Rohan. when he asked them about the flat no 1307, they first got scared but later they told their incident. The incident had occurred few months ago. Few months ago a girl had committed suicide there, after some days Raj and Rohan were passing by when they saw light switched on of that flat and they went and asked the watchman weather someone had came to live there but the watchmen said that no one had come since the day the girl had died and its locked. They went to their home and planned to meet at midnight and go to that house, they met at midnight near the building and went inside, they reached 13th floor and as they went near the flat no. 1307 they stated hearing some noise and saw a dark figure flying in air, seeing the figure they got scared and started to run, suddenly the lift stopped working so they took the stairs as they were coming down again and again they were reaching the same floor, 13th floor. Then they screamed and fainted, later hearing the noise, the people of that building came and found them unconscious on 13th floor. When they told them about what happened, some of them said they had also heard the noise and had seen the figure.

After listening to story, Raghav got very scared and ran home while he was going home he remembered about the figure he had seen at house, but had thought it was just his imagination but now he understood that it was not his imagination but he had really seen them, after reaching home he told the whole story to his parents and they got very scared and moved out of that house.

After listening to the story, there was pin drop silence, no one was able to say anything. Later we came to our house and slept, that night I got a nightmare about the story raghav told. Since that day, we never ever talked about that incident again.
