A Bird's Message

365 days back,

A bird came and sat on my window.

Holding a chit,

Which she came to show.

 

The chit said that,

2018 is now history.

And,

2019 will be a mystery.

 

But this time,

She didn't come.

Do you know why....,

Because the air is no longer wholesome.

 

There is so much pollution,

In the air.

Which the birds,

Are not able to bear.

 

So, let's take a pledge,

This new year.

That 2020 sky,

Will have many birds flying without any fear.

 

So, for 2020,

This is a bird's message....

That she doesn't want to stay,

In an oxygenated cage.
