A Broken life...

My heart is weeping,

Once she sowed seeds of happiness,

Yet now they sprout as sapplings of sorrow.

The darkness she left me in 

Fed the sapplings to grow;

The vines choking my soul, dragging my heart into the depths of numbness.

Where is my happiness, where is my joy.

"Oh Lord please remove this cup of suffering"

Let my soul be released from this death grip,

That I may feel the warmth of joy, once again.

For now despair has become my food,

To long for that which I can't have, my purpose,

And to loose that which I love my life...
