A NIGHTMARE
A NIGHTMARE
Heya, listen na... can you hear me?
I whispered from the cupboard As i saw my brother run,
And hide under the bed,
Heart beats of thunder,
And breath taken,
With silenced fears.
He was in shock and was numb,
for he was like a dead man breathing.
step by step, the sound
of the boot steps made us,
look at the face of death.
shivers and tears,
teeth shuttering by itself,
He entered our room,
A man in black
with a wrinkled face,
They face of death,
I must say!
He walked in to my room,
Smelled us, what a pity,
my brother got caught.
Nooo! I woke up from my bed,
with a loud shout.
Alas! It was a dream.
The sunshine almost hit my face.
Ah! what a relief,
I smiled and looked at my brother,
Sleeping peacefully.
I got down from my bed with happiness.
And walked to the window,
Ouch! something poked my foot!
I looked down,
My glasses smashed by the boots!
I was thrilled and looked at my brother again,
He was not there on the bed.
Disappeared or killed?
They ask. I still keep mum.
For the wicked man,
Is always with me,
Watching me every time!
