A Parallel World
A Parallel World
Dreams I remember,
Long forgotten are realities,
I chose those soft corners,
Embracing me with warmth,
Shielding me from the storms.
Funny it is but perplexes the heart,
Happy to relive the blurs,
Shying away from the stark,
A part of which has lived by me.
There is a parallel world,
I choose to sometimes find respite in
A calmer presence,
Prayers not spoken but answered,
Wins celebrated,
No defeats known,
I commanding the result.
A world of hope,
In abundance the optimism galore,
A world of dreams,
There is a parallel world,
I sometimes weave...
To let me make the reality as it ought to be.
