Secret

In the dark corner of my mind, I sit gazing at the lines before me

All smiles for the beautiful mind she has 

Lines crafted perfectly of a hurting heart

I admire in secret her emotions running on paper

Though she sparkles each day in day out

Her hurt all an open book I view from afar

I long to ease that pain in her 

Yet hold my horse for it's a secret between my heart and I

A poetess she is that has stolen my heart

For her pain I share and discuss time to time

Yet the fact remains she has stolen my heart

But will not let the cat out of the bag as yet

It's a secret concealed for now
