A Perfect Conversation

"What are you doing?"

A string of words that has led me from being exited to being left with no more expectations.

My fingers itching to text you back and tell you that this is what I want and not all the ghosting you've been leading me through with all your manifestations.

But somehow my brain tells me to stop, it's not worth it.

However, my heart has other plans, for it knows how to feel and I-

I am passionate, one who feels the need to care for emotions rather than be rational, and be a perfect statue devoid of any feeling, destroying all the beauty that any imperfections can give.

I am confused, impatient and restless.

I can no longer rack my brains to give you the perfect answer so that we can keep this conversation going.

So please,

Please tell me what it is that you want to hear so that we can have many more of those fairytales perfect, never-ending conversations where you and I slowly discover our true selves.
