A Smile in the Dark

  Many I have seen blaming the M. S. E. B, 'what the hell, why there's a powercut suddenly?'....even I get grumpy sometimes, my grandpa curses them and mom bickers too. 

But once in a while I felt good, yeah it's again a power cut and I remember once the day again, sitting on a swing, swinging all the way seeing the candel... The heart warms out with affection! 

I remember that on a lucky day of power cut in the pleasant silence of light, in the rural village I live, with my family I saw a smile in the dark! 

I felt light can fade away the warmer smile, in that dark night with candel being the only light my dad and me had such a good vibe! 

Within a while, all colours overshined, in power cut I saw the most beautiful colours of light having a great laugh and viewing so many smiles I felt what is it to feel like! What is to feel like, to be happy within and without light, even though it merely seems like no light when you see it is filled with joyful noise, colourful lights and sweetest smiles. 

That's someday I realized, even the dark hides a smile.
