A Stranger Who Stole My Heart

There was someone I met as a stranger

Working on a common cause.

With passage of time slowly and silently

She took a place in my heart as a friend.

I started growing fond of her,

Not sure why, not sure what was special.

She was bubbly, and talkative too

She had her own charm.

Slowly she started taking a special place

I had a very different feeling.

Never did I had the courage to tell her

What or how I felt for her.

The feelings over time grew stronger

The more I avoided, the more I began to think of her.

Over time she slowly stole my dreams,

Most time her thoughts made me smile.

I don’t know where this goes,

I know not where or how it ends.

A day without talking to her,

It’s not how I want that day to end.
