The Beauty I Searched
The Beauty I Searched
The beauty
that I searched for days
found in the nature's lap-
in and around the mountains and dales
where the morning dew drops
on rose tops
in grasshoppers' hops
in screaming of birds
and in lilting spring
that brim in rainy or in spring
also found underneath million stars
among the masses
that muse in the evening
while returning from local fare
singing and dancing with tangled arms
kids hopping adjacent
while their browny hands dangling with bamboo artifacts
I found her standing over there
while speaking less but seeking more
I ushered in to her
when my heart longed more
and wanted to pour
of love,
attention,
and favour
Like any mythological goddess
she was pleasing
like a moon from some cloudy cascade she did sheen
and walked into my biological rim
inebriating me with her drooping eyes
and with million words from her chiseled lips
that my earthly ears failed to keep
forcing me to murmur
the creation should l praise or the creator?
who toiled for years
searching emeralds in distant seas and lands
and stringed them into
a magical countenance.
