Accept Your Wrinkles
Accept Your Wrinkles
I'll now stick here, petrified to face that mirror.
Grey hair, sunken eyes, wrinkled face, skin wither.
Trembling hands, paining joints, my Alzheimer and blurry vision,
making my loved ones really hard to decipher
Suddenly I heard a voice from within, "Come on!"
Just Ponder the genuine relationships you gained, and memories configured.
Meaningful life lived and positive values treasured.
Story of hard struggles, your wrinkles proudly features
This grey you manifest are values and wisdom attained.
How unfortunate are those who die earlier?
Golden glorious years are medals, which you wear
Yes! Irrespective of years I'm still a child inside.
It foolish of me to question this phase of life,
Will embrace it with acceptance, God's wish I abide.
