Down The Memory Lane
Down The Memory Lane
In a world devoid of memories I stood,
Feeling handicapped and it's no good.
Peeping through the kaleidoscope of ages,
Those familiar scrawling on yellow pages,
Faded over the period of time,
Which I won't barter for any dime.
Gone are those days,
And we parted our ways.
Many a say
Forgetfulness is a blessing in disguise,
A great potion for so called goodbyes.
No, I don't think so!
Seasons change, so do people,
Memories won't, fresh as a maple.
Getting golden over ages and more.
Stabbing my heart's core,
Are those sweet moments, now a pain
And here I am, wishing them much and again.
