After the Calm
After the Calm
After some minutes of calm
I decided to stop the torment,
to think about the moments
that I’ll leave after my age:
In the smell of my mother while she is,
and in her voice when she’s gone.
In the child games
that prepared me to live,
and in the tranquility
of running with the coast and the dawn.
I decided to stop it,
to think about the moments
that are up to me to come:
In the happiness of your smile
for which I silently watch out.
In the promise of a radiant sky
to dull your pain.
In the acknowledgment of the art
to which I offer my time.
And in the awakening from a real dream
to change my life.
For all the reasons and more,
I decided to stop the torment
and come back.
