Alone

They left him alone.

The ones whom he thought were somehow, 

His own. 

And as the sun slowly shone, 

They left him alone. 

What sort of friends were they, 

Who always caused pain? 

What sort of friends were they, 

Who thought of nothing but their own gain? 

And as days came and passed by, 

He realized. 

He was, 

Once again, 

Alone.
