We are with you O' merchant of dreams

Entangled with your dreams, inseparable

Since the inception of each life in its realms

You carried us all with love palpable.

 

Alone you stood like a tree, with promises of blooms

And a lighthouse to navigate the lost

And guide us all to the light from the glooms

And take us under your wings from the rain and frost.

 

Not long ago, igniting life in some dormant seeds

Your magic wand spread the contagious dreams

Among some that bled on their earthly needs

Of life and scrambled into your ark of love and gleams.

 

Life has never been a bed of roses for you

With your boat tossed and toppled in the rough

With every passing wave threatening the crew

But you held onto them like a captain tough.

 

Men came and men went but you went on for ever

Bound by your contagious dreams and the vision so sound
