An Ode to Nature
An Ode to Nature
There above me is the sky
Ever so serene and tranquil
A graveyard of stars at night
Tragically beautiful creation of the one above
By the cavernous seas
One can lie for hours
Listening to the endless tunes of the waves
And the intriguing harmony of the wind
As I walk through the pathless woods
Nature shall slowly embrace me
The snow-soaked leaves and dew drops
Hug me like no one else has ever did
Beneath the shady trees I lie
The flowers growing towards me
Making my heart bloom with joy
The once-frozen heart ought to melt
The forlorn nights consumed with darkness
The moon shines alone
And what a privilege to witness it's beauty
So ethereal and idyllic
Nature taught me kindness and strength
Taught me to grow with perseverance
Love one another unconditionally
And to forget all dolour and distress
