A Tale of Seven
A Tale of Seven
In the abyss of darkness
There lie the seven sins
Each not so deadly when alone
These are the seven vices each one of us holds
First is the green eyed bitter greed
Ever so present in all of us
Then the pride, arrogance blind
Hubris's fall is a lesson to us mankind
Lust so beautiful and sweet
Until it stings and bleeds your heart
Desire no less, forever felt
It's grasp, virtue maimed
As gluttony comes knocking at your door
Your soul shall turn dark and cold
Envy's red gaze enters slowly
Beware of it for it will kill your friendship
Wrath, a storm and anger together unleashed
Destruction follows and hearts are breached
Last comes the sloth,often forgotten
A slumber that makes dreams decay
Beware of these seven sins
A treacherous thing that ordinarily breaks hearts
A perfidious art created to deceive humans
And every one of us falls into its trap
