Baba, Baba, Bearded Guru, Have You Any Gods?
Baba, Baba, Bearded Guru, Have You Any Gods?
Oh! Baba, Baba bearded Guru,
Have you any gods?
Yes sir, Yes Madam, in my ashram full.
One for health, one for the wealth
One for the life, one for the strife in life
One for the poor, in the need of the hour
One for the rich, for a timely stitch.
Further, the Guru said, Remember
I am the Guru, without me you can't get through
I am not a mendicant, but a clever consultant.
Upon your ability I will charge your fees
But with some kindness, you, I shall squeeze.
Be it the live art or inner engineering
Spirituality to overcome the duality
Inclined to science or you prefer my wizardry
Don't worry, I shall not wring you dry.
Come to me all ye, in life that ye have lost
In my ashram, find your bearings, let me be your host.
Suite or dormitory according to your means and comfort
Leave it to me, on your behalf I shall make the effort.
So, the people went in droves
With blind faith and deep hope.
All of them, in life, could not cope.
Caught up in illusions, yet not finding any solutions.
And the ashram grew in size, Baba in stature likewise
People still followed the pied piper, like the blind mice.
