Back in Time

Back in time, a timid boy so meek,

Bullied by classmates, week after week.

The taunts and jeers, a constant din,

Making him feel small, deep within.

But two friends stood by his side,

A boy and girl, his constant guide.

They shielded him from hurt and harm,

And kept him safe with love and charm.

Though frail in body, his mind was keen,

A bright prodigy, he played the harp serene.

The notes he plucked, so sweet and clear,

A balm to soothe his every fear.

His friends saw the beauty deep within,

And helped him flourish and spread his wings.

Now he looks back at those days,

And remembers the love that paved his way.
