A command? Be honest! Why?

Honesty Is noble, to be rewarded or the lesser of two evils?

What a dim perspective! Honesty as an option

It’s a finking imperative, not a choice

The basis of successful human intercourse

(I mean conversations), the basis for trusting

Each other. Between truth and mistruth

It is the simpler option. Yes, honesty is best dispensed

With diplomacy and an awareness of other’s emotions, 

Kindness does not equate to diminishing its value or strength

Be honest, to yourself and to others. Truth liberates

falsehoods smother
