BEHOLD A PRESAGE
BEHOLD A PRESAGE
In the midst of my easiness
While serenity blossoms like business
Lending credence to an aura of promenade
That invokes the mood of prominence.
Abruptly flies a presage like an eagle so high
Coming to besiege a chickling from the sky
The mouth agape, the eyes, ears all tense
Holding my breaths in suspense.
I spring on my feet like a game
Hunted by a hunter of fame
To my instinct I have to hearken:
Who knows what will happen?
How can I rest in peace, when besieged by spies?
Coming like a drone that flies.
