Bittersweet Goodbyes

Why does it feel so hard to let go?

It hurts when someone suddenly becomes your foe

I'm not used to feeling this lonely 

For, I had someone, them only 

It hurts when someone suddenly disappears

Even more, when you have been waiting for them your entire life to appear 

At one point, life feels like a magical fantasy 

Soon later, it becomes a beautiful tragedy 

I cannot describe this feeling 

I hope that soon, I'll start healing 

I just move on with a sigh

Because of my bittersweet goodbyes 

Some goodbyes weren't spoken out loud 

For, they left without a sound 

They fade away and soon, they're gone 

The one that was once known as an unbreakable bond

I wish to find the one I lost

I simply cannot let go of the past 

Those memories still visit me every day

Do I have to deal with this in every possible way?

Regardless I searched, but they weren't found 

They left without a sound 

I realised I had been searching for my shadow, you see

The once-reflected happy me
