Blood the way

Blood the way

In shadows deep,

Where darkness reigns,

Lies a tale of anguish,

Searing pains,

A subject's grave,

A heartache profound,

A poem must speak, though its words astound.

But hark!

Let us address this heinous crime,

With words that echo,

Throughout all time,

In this verse,

We'll shed a ray of light,

Illuminate the darkness, and set things right.

Rape,

The vile trespass upon sacred souls,

A vile act that shatters,

Leaves hearts with holes,

A brutal invasion of trust and consent,

Leaving scars unseen, forever imprinted.

In this world where innocence should thrive,

Evil forces arise,

Seeking to deprive,

They violate the spirit,

The body,

And the mind,

Leaving victims broken,

Struggling to find

The strength to heal,

To rise above the pain,

To reclaim their lives,

To feel whole again,

But know,

Dear reader,

They are not alone,

Together we stand,

Their voices to intone.

Let empathy guide us,

As we lend our ears,

To those who suffered,

Those burdened by fear,

Let us shatter the silence,

Break down the walls,

And support survivors,

As their courage calls.

Let justice be swift,

For every life scarred,

For every voice stifled,

For every heart marred,

Let laws be enacted,

That protects and defends,

And teach our children,

Respect without end.

But let us not forget,

In this heartfelt plea,

That rape knows no boundaries,

No gender,

Decree,

It's a battle we face,

As a united whole,

To create a world,

Where compassion takes control.

So, let this poem stand as a solemn plea,

To end this wretched crime,

Forever decree,

In our actions,

In every word we say,

We choose empathy and love,

To light the way.
