I was in the middle of endless steps

I stopped

I was tired

I felt exhausted

I wanted to cry

I wanted to give up

And then I turned back

Water fell from my eyes of what I saw

Those times when I cried 

And how I managed to smile

Those times when I fell

And how I managed to stand up

Those times when I faced the difficult challenges

And I how I managed to survive

Those times when everyone judged me

And how I managed held my head high

I realized, yes, that was me

And then I saw my reflection

I felt proud

I smiled
