BREEZE

Your gentle touch, and cool breath, touching every soul, 

 you inspire me !

On the yonder hill,

what do you see,?

Happenings manyfold. !

You witness past and present,

Life's reins you hold. 

Your whisper-sweet music, 

your songs are folk lore,

the rustling of leaves mesmerizing.

You soothe the tired limbs, 

your soft kisses put all 

to deep slumber, and sweet  dreams. .

A traveler you are, indeed,

no station you abound. 

Your whistle-sweet sound. 

Your journey is unending, Messenger you are of Love.  

Unseen, quietly you move.

   

O! Breeze! Your presence is enchanting! 

The flowers, and trees, in nature,

all bow to your rhythmic tune.

Intoxicating their minds, the creatures dance,

engrossed, enveloped in your arms,

Life enlivens, forgetting the pain and miseries,

purpose in life is found. 

  Dear breeze, when you flow over the mountains and oceans,

carry my message to my beloved,

to the horizon, with you. 

I wait here for him, till eternity,

waft the sweet scent from him,

craft a wave, for me to cuddle. 

I am rooted here, forever.
