Child Labour - The Sad Reality :(

Lightning in the sky,

But still, the child is working hard,

Working by putting his blood and sweat,

But, god isn't showing any sign of help.

Their parents would have been labourers,

So, even the kids are forced to put hands in it.

They are trapped in this loop,

They are trapped in the cycle of poverty.

Some say it's due to their karma,

Some blame the British for this system.

However, people who force these kids,

Will surely be punished by the almighty.

The painful smile,

And the painful eyes tell it all.

I can't even picture myself,

Stepping my foot in their shoe.

I get goosebumps when I try to.

In the age of going to school,

And learning right-hand thumb rule,

Or learning to tell rhymes,

They are going on the streets,

To sell food, flower and lime.

Instead of using pen and pencil,

They sell it for the need of money,

In the age of playing with toys,(example: car)

They go near cars to sell them.

Just like an elephant tied with a rope,

They are locked up with an invisible chain.

I can't step out a barefoot, but they do.

They might be hoping daily to lead a better life.

But, God isn't still showing them any sign of help.

Some dream to buy a toy,

And some trying to sell.

We all are god's son,

Why there is an injustice to them?
