Children Of The Sea

Children Of The Sea

In a world where life seems hard to thrive,

Where every day is a struggle to survive,

There are children, who find joy and drive,

In the simple pleasures of being alive,

They are the children of the sea,

The sons and daughters of the fishermen at the beach,

Whose lives are marked by toil and strife,

With the unceasing threat of the ocean's whim in their lives,

Their fathers' legacy, they carry with pride,

With calloused hands, and a deep-sea stride,

They brave the tempests and the ocean's sway,

For the sea is their life, their hope, their way.

Their clothes are so tattered and worn,

Their faces are marked by sun and storm,

Yet in the ocean's embrace, they find their joy alone,

And from its depths, their strength has grown.

With his sister on his back, a symbol of his might,

The eldest boy shoulders his burden, so heavy but light.

For he knows that in this world so tough,

He must be strong, resilient, and enough.

The toy boat bobs and dances with the tide,

A symbol of their father's unwavering pride,

For on the sea, he risks his life each day,

To provide for his family in every way,

But in this moment, in the ocean's embrace,

They forget all the fears they face,

Splashing in the waves, carefree and bold,

The children find happiness that never grows old.

For in the ocean's depths, they find release,

A place of magic and endless peace,

And as they play and revel in its might,

They know that everything will be alright.

And yet, amidst the struggles and the strife,

These children find beauty in the sea alive,

A world of wonder and endless possibilities to see,

Where anything is possible and everything is free,

For though their lives may be hard, uncertain and grim,

These children know the power of hope and courage within,

And though the sea may bring danger and strife,

Yet, they know the power of resilience in life.

So let us hold on dear to this touching scene,

And remember the lessons it means,

Of the beauty and strength that lies within,

And of the hope that never sinks,

Hence let us take a lesson from their lives,

And find joy in the simple things that ring,

For, in the end, it is not wealth or power,

But the beauty of life that makes our hearts flower.
