COVID Did This
COVID Did This
I have sat at home for two years
And that’s the reason I am in tears
Two grades and two years of school life
Gone down the drain in a strife
My school time has been lost
Which my parents say has been at my health’s cost
Hell! I do not care for it
Since I am in a rage of fit
Why did COVID snatch my school time?
He should know that he’s done a crime
I had so much fun back then
From the time I was a toddler,
To the time it struck, sick and yuck,
And they did not let me go to school,
They did not let me meet my friends
Or share my lunch with them which was the trend.
Alone I sat, in front of a computer
Trying to study what’s already hard
And facing the flurry of questions the teacher bombards,
The online classes were a bore
But they were a savior in the fore
However, they were not worth giving up the school life,
I deeply adored.
