Daydream

We kissed each other in a hot-blooded daydream,

Your slender fingers interlocked in mine.

Every time you suspired, which exhibited amorousness; 

Feelings of ecstasy wrapped me up. 

And oh! Those sensuous eyes filled with absolute seduction,

It would direct a libidinous gaze to me.

My yearning lips would melt in yours, 

Losing control to stop the intensity of concupiscent emotions.

The warmth of your body would produce an irresistible ambience.

You slowly murmured that impassioned phrase in my ears,

These meaningful words 'I love you, Jane'. 

As you nuzzled through my satiny hair.

Desire wouldn't stop but eventually,

You would snuggle into my warm embrace. 

It still occurs to me as a thought of

These meaningful words 'I love you, Jane'. 

It still occurs to me as a thought of bewilderment,

The sentiments of lust framed our picture,

Why did I fall for your soul?.

Why did you create an expectation in me?

When you weren't going to promise me an unceasing love. 

I wept days and days for you, 

My tears drenched in my melancholia, 

Which were doleful pangs of heartache.

These imbecile questions would not make any changes now, 

Because I'm going to erase you from my fascinating daydream. 

A daydream in which only I was blind in love.
