Domination
Domination
I smoke to please my lungs,
My heart says don't;
My mind says you'll die,
But addiction says you won't.
Why do I smoke?
It makes me healthier? No!
Numerous saddening thoughts,
On my mind, that you'll never know.
Well, it does kill me a bit,
But rejuvenates my mind;
All these snakes around me,
They all seemed to be so kind.
Advertisements have got on our minds,
Is it Tommy Hilfiger or Calvin Klein;
That says men should have 8 packs,
And that too shaved clean?
Cars and clothes and shoes,
Is all that we chase;
We get a salary is that would take a millennium,
Just to get a 1% raise!
Our minds are working,
Our hearts numb and dead;
We become slaves of this Domination
And chooses to get stoned instead.
