Don’t push me down and expect me to stay down.

Because I will bounce back. And when I do, you won’t like it.

I am greater than what you think.

I am better than what you believe. I am more.

Don’t condescend me. I am no child.

I know my limitations. I know my strengths.

I know myself—far better than you do, to say the very least.

Don’t underestimate me.

I have a strength which reaches far beyond your imagination…

How else do you think I deal with such stupidity?

I am phenomenal.

Don’t belittle me.

Don’t play my achievements, my capabilities, my intelligence down.

Don’t play me down.

I do great. I am great.

Don’t patronize me. I have my downfalls, as every person does.

I don’t need to be reminded of them by you.

I learn from them. I grow.

You do me no favors as you patronize me.

Don’t help me. You help nobody—, not me, not you—as you do this.

I need no help. Not from you. Not from anyone. Not unless I ask for it.

Despite what you may think, you (or your help) are no catalyst in any reaction.

Don’t assume that you know me.

My mind is a hurricane of thoughts and my heart, a hurricane of emotions…

What you know is only a slight breeze.

Don’t dictate my life. I will not waste my life trying to live yours.

I am living for myself. Not for you. I call the shots, I lay down the laws.

I am my own ruler… I am my own king, queen, rook, castle, knight, and pawn.

And I will win at this game.

Don’t expect from me. I can surprise you in ways you won’t ever anticipate.

I will not always break your scale. And I won’t even try.

However, I will spend every second of my life trying to break mine.

Don’t presume your importance. You are nobody to me.

I do not need you. I do not want you. I am self-sufficient.

You are just another sentence I can do that I am ready to cut out in the book of my life.

Don’t bother me. I will not share my troubles, my joys, my anything with you.

You do not need to know. I do not need to tell you. Stay out of it.

I will mourn alone. And I will celebrate alone.

Don’t ask me to trust you. I will not.

I will keep to myself. I have no reason to let anyone in.

I am a one-woman army. Stronger than anything you’ve ever seen.

Don’t judge me.

I do not need you to scrutinize my every move and I do not appreciate your judgments.

You are only wasting your time as you do so. I am my best critic.

And you cannot change that.

So don’t. Don’t do anything.

I am excellent.

And no matter what you say or what you think, I will remain so.
