I can't see the stars

I'm trying to have fun

I want to shout out loud

But something pains me

Am I sad?

I can't hear the leaves rustling

I'm trying to help out

I want to give up

But something kills me

Am I tired?

I can't smell that flower

I'm trying to figure things

I want to break them

But something reminds me 

Am I bored?

I can't feel the joy

I'm trying to learn something

I want to go back

But something pulls me

Am I not me anymore?

I can't breathe anymore

I'm trying to live my life

I want to spread my wings

But something stops me

Am I dying?
