Expectation

A simple word with many hidden challenges.. A simple word with many emotions.

It is said that people expect from those... Who are not likely to disappoint them.

But what about the one from whom it is expected...

 What about their stress and fear of being judged.

Do these people even know what they face... The continuous struggle and guilt if they don't ace.

All the pressures and scolding from parents... All the comparison from the societal tyrants.

The continuous sword hanging on their head...

 Of being the one to let down and dread.

No one knows how these things effects them...

 But still they try and yet all they get is condemn.

Even then those brave people still don't complain... 

But smile and wish that all their struggles just don't go in vain.
