What is Life?

What is Life?

Life is a journey that we all must take,

A path that we forge, for goodness or for sake.

It's filled with twists and turns and ups and downs,

Sometimes we laugh, and sometimes we frown.

Life is an empty canvas, waiting for us to paint,

With colors bright, somber, or even shades of faint.

But what is the meaning, the purpose of it all?

Why do we strive and stand tall?

Some say it's love, the greatest emotion,

A force that guides us through every motion.

Others claim its success, the ultimate goal,

A measure of one's worth, one's role.

But I believe it's something deeper still,

A sense of purpose, a way to fulfill.

To live a life of meaning and joy,

To spread love and laughter, to be employed.

To help others, to give back, to make a change,

To find happiness, to be whole and strange.

For life is not a race, a competition to win,

But a journey to be savored, to let love begin.

So let us not seek fame or wealth or power,

But seek to love and serve, to blossom and flower.

For, in the end, it's not about what we achieve,

But about the love we give and the hearts we relieve.

The meaning of life is different for all,

But one thing we all have in common, the call.

To live our lives to the fullest extent,

To be the best versions of ourselves, to repent.

For past mistakes and to embrace,

The beauty of life and all it has to face.

Let us live, let live, and love with all our might,

For the meaning of life is a journey, not a sight.

Let us embrace life's mysteries and charms,

And find our purpose, our place in these arms.
